What Families in Preschool Admissions Get
Six things that make the daily reality of school here different.
A Short Daily Journey
A predictable trip from Preschool Admissions means your child arrives rested rather than worn out before the first lesson.
Small, Known Classes
Teachers know every child by name. Nobody disappears at the back of the room.
One School to Class XI
Join at pre-primary and stay through to Class XI. No disruptive move, no second admission scramble.
Karate and Discipline
Martial arts sit inside physical education, building focus and self-control that carry into the classroom.
Support Where Needed
Shadow teachers work alongside class teachers, and special classes strengthen concepts individually.
AI and Robotics
Senior students get practical exposure to coding, logic and robotics alongside the core syllabus.

Welcome to Little Stars Pre-Primary School
Little Stars High School has offered pre-primary education on Elliot Road since 1993. Our Playgroup, Nursery and Kindergarten programmes give young children a gentle, structured introduction to school life in a setting that is safe, bright and genuinely warm.
For most families this is the first time a child spends a part of the day away from home. We take that seriously. The first few weeks are about settling in, learning names, finding the washroom without help and discovering that school is a good place to be.
Why Parents Choose Us
We believe every child is unique and arrives with their own strengths. Our approach is student-centric and play-based, because that is genuinely how children of this age learn — not through worksheets, but through handling, building, singing, repeating and asking.
- A safe and stimulating environment where children can explore
- Small groups, so every child is known individually
- Trained teachers who work with a research-backed early years curriculum
- Smartboard technology used sparingly and purposefully
- Space for sport, movement and recreational activity
- Materials for art and imaginative play, always within reach
What the Day Looks Like
Playgroup runs from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Nursery and Kindergarten follow the morning schedule from 8:00 am to 11:30 am.
A typical session moves between circle time, a focused learning activity, free play, a story and a snack. The rhythm stays the same from day to day, because young children settle far better when they know what is coming next.
What Children Learn
Pre-primary education lays the foundation for everything that follows. In these years children:
- Acquire social skills through sustained contact with children outside their family
- Learn to build friendships, collaborate and listen properly
- Develop pre-literacy skills through games, rhymes and stories
- Build vocabulary and confidence in speaking
- Practise the fundamentals of speaking, listening, reading, writing and positive values
Just as importantly, they learn that being curious is rewarded. That habit, formed early, tends to last.
Moving Up to Primary
Children who complete Kindergarten with us move directly into Class I, staying with friends and teachers they already know. Because we teach right through to Class XI, families are not forced into another school search after two or three years.
Come and See Us
We would encourage any parent to visit before deciding. Walk through the rooms, watch a session, meet the teachers and ask whatever you would like to ask. Call the office to arrange a time that suits you.
